“Mundo Verde” or “Green Planet” has been carefully tailored to combine the nature wonders of these three exciting Central American countries as well as their fascinating culture. Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama offer a closer encounter with the natural world through a wide diversity of ecosystems including cloud forest reserves, dry tropical jungles, rain forests, wet lands, active and dormant volcanoes, and many more captivating environments. The visitors will have the unique opportunity to get in contact with endemic species of this region such as sloths, birds, turtles, deer, different species of monkeys and birds, and a large number tropical plants and flowers.

This delightful and colorful trip will also reveal the welcoming and warm culture of the Central American people. Furthermore you will learn about pre-Columbian history, the Spanish conquest, the English and French piracy activities, independence events and Central America’s modern history.

Day 1, Sunday: Arrival San José / Costa Rica - Transfer to City Hotel

Our English-speaking guide will wait for you at the exit of the airport. Transfer to the hotel near downtown San José.

Day 2, Monday: San José – Monteverde – Monteverde Reserve

Right after breakfast, your natural experience starts with a journey up into the mountains of Monteverde passing via San Ramón and Puntarenas. The last 35 km will be a quite bumpy adventure. Here a hike in the famous Monteverde Reserve with safe and extense hiking trails are on the schedule…

Day 3, Tuesday:    Monteverde – Cañas – Liberia – Peñas Blancas / Nicaragua – Ometepe

Quite early today you will head back to the Panamerican Highway where you continue via Cañas and Liberia northwards to Peñas Blancas, border town to Nicaragua. After passing the immigration formalities you will continue along the great Lake Nicaragua. Day 4, Wednesday: Ometepe – Granada City Tour – Granada

After a quick cup of coffee you leave around 05.30 a.m. and drive via Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí and Horquetas to Guápiles, where you reach the main road to Limón. Here, at around 8am, you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican breakfast before you continue to the area of La Pavona o Caño Blanco…

Day 9, Monday: Tortuguero National Park

Day 10, Tuesday: Tortuguero – Cahuita

After breakfast, you leave the beautiful area of Tortuguero by boat. You drive to the Caribbean coast, passing the port town of Limón. Day 11, Wednesday: Cahuita – Sixaola / Panama – Bocas del Toro

Day 12, Thursday: Colón / Bocas del Toro

Day 13, Friday:    Colón / Bocas del Toro - Flight to Panama City - City tour

Day 14, Saturday: Partial Crossing of the Panama Channel

Early in the morning you will be transferred to the dock, where you board a larger ship for the unforgettable partial cruise of the Panama Channel. While passing some of the worlds famous locks, you will get very interesting information about the construction…

Day 15, Sunday:    Return flight from Panama City

Transfer to the international Airport Tocumen of Panama City, where our services end.
